Un univers sonore de couleurs, de sensations et de plaisir
PRESENTATION OF A NEVEOL VIOLIN
In 2023, Mathieu Névéol realized his dream as a violin maker: to be able to create the sound of a violin before having made it. The Névéol violin was born.
Created in 2011 by Mathieu Névéol, this original instrument has a bright sound in the high register and a particularly warm sound in the low register. The originality of the model and the architecture of the vaults enhanced by a golden yellow dichroic varnish, make the Névéol violin an instrument of exceptional sound quality and power.
Play one and you will be heard and recognized from the first notes.

MASTERY OF SOUND
During his research, Mathieu Névéol developed a technique for harmonizing instruments before varnishing. This technique, used in Italy since the 16th century, allows the final sound of a violin to be adjusted, to "adjust" any problems with rolling on certain notes and therefore to harmonize the sound balance of a violin, from low to high. Thanks to this technique, we guarantee the absence of rolling on each violin, particularly on the G string, and mastery of the timbre of each instrument.

Dichroic varnish NEVEOL & SON
After fifteen years of frantic research in collaboration with Régis Névéol, the discovery of the dichroic varnish Névéol & Fils , a varnish visible on almost all the instruments in the Cremona museum in Italy, allowed the Névéol violin to be sublimated.
A double advantage, aesthetic and sound:
This warm, highly dichroic varnish, characterized by a golden cinnamon color with orange-red highlights, changes color depending on the light source and the viewing angle from which the instrument is observed.
Finally, this varnish applied to a so-called "white" instrument significantly modifies the mechanical properties of the wood and gives an undeniable sound signature to Névéol violins.
